e2v aerospace and defense Inc. appoints Joe Pietras to lead its high performance imaging solutions business in the US
e2v, a leading global provider of technology solutions for high performance systems, has appointed Joe Pietras to the position of Vice President and General Manager of high performance imaging solutions for e2v aerospace & defense Inc. Joe joined e2v on April 2nd 2012 and will oversee the continued expansion of e2v aerospace and defense’s imaging business in the US marketplace. He is based at e2v’s facility in Santa Clara, CA.
Joe has over twenty-five years of experience in successfully leading companies within the imaging market. Most recently, Joe held the role of Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Photonics Division for Intevac, Inc., where he was responsible for driving the growth of the Intevac Photonics business in optical sensors, cameras and imaging systems within the defense market. Prior to Intevac, Joe held leadership roles at Sarnoff Corporation, Roper Scientific, and Schlumberger, Ltd. Joe has a Ph.D. in Physics from Columbia University.
Joe joins e2v aerospace and defense Inc. to lead the growth of our imaging business in the strategically important US aerospace and defense imaging markets, and will be developing and executing our plans for expansion of high performance imaging products and services.
