BiTC awards e2v a gold standard for corporate responsibility

e2v has been awarded a gold standard for its corporate responsibility activities from Business in the Community (BiTC), the largest national business-led partnership dedicated to corporate responsibility.

e2v has achieved a Gold standard from Business in the Community (BiTC) for its Corporate Responsibility Index with a score of 89.45%. e2v scored 100% on their community management which exceeds the benchmark figure of 93.1%. They were scored 96% on their marketplace management which demonstrates e2v’s continuing focus on the social needs of the community. Also e2v obtained 98.1% for their environmental management, displaying responsible business practice as a major part of e2v’s daily business activities.

BiTC uses four key pillars to measure the CR score; workplace, environment, community and marketplace. e2v was scored on its equality and diversity, as well as on how they work with local communities from the charitable donations and activities of the business. e2v was compared with similar companies such as Rolls-Royce and Siemens on how they work with their customers and suppliers in the workplace, their carbon footprint and recycling programme.
