Chelmsford employees raise £5100 for 3 local charities
e2v’s Chelmsford employees have raised £5100 for Little Havens Children’s Hospice, Essex Air Ambulance and Farleigh Hospice.
The money was raised through various events during the year and through the employee lottery. The events included a football competition, a book & video library and events held at the company’s whoosh! learning centre, including a salsa dancing workshop.
Andy Bennett, Chair of e2v’s Charities committee presented the cheques to representatives from the three charities.
Andy Bennett commented: “Against the background of such difficult economic times, these donations and money raising activities are a real testament to the generosity and willingness of our people to help raise money for charitable organisations within our community”
